Job Description
Technical Solutions Consultant implementing MES/MOM, Unified Namespace, and digital transformation solutions. Delivering automation and manufacturing IT systems for Grantek’s global brand clients.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement technical architectures for MES/MOM, Industrial DataOps platforms, and digital transformation initiatives
- Translate functional requirements into scalable, maintainable technical designs
- Maintain awareness of client business drivers, operational challenges, and regulatory requirements
- Collaborate with Functional Consultants to validate requirements and align success criteria
- Implement Ignition, Sepasoft MES modules, MQTT brokers, and related technologies
- Configure and develop MES modules for production tracking, OEE, quality, traceability, scheduling, inventory, and maintenance
- Design and implement Unified Namespace architectures, ISA-95 data models, MQTT topic structures, and data pipelines
- Integrate MES/MOM with ERP, SCADA, PLCs, historians, QMS, LIMS, and analytics platforms
- Perform Python and SQL scripting and development
- Lead unit and integration testing and support UAT
- Develop technical documentation, architecture diagrams, data flows, configuration specifications, and deployment procedures
- Support commissioning, deployment, go-live, troubleshooting, and production cutover
- Manage technical projects under $100K with guidance
- Collaborate with Grantek India offshore teams and workforce partners
- Mentor junior technical consultants and participate in code reviews
- Contribute to technical accelerators, templates, and reusable components
- Support pre-sales demonstrations, feasibility assessments, architecture reviews, proposals, technical estimation, and solution definition
- Identify follow-on opportunities within existing client engagements
Requirements:
- 4–7 years of experience in industrial automation, MES/MOM, or manufacturing IT
- Proven hands-on experience with Ignition and/or Sepasoft
- Experience implementing multiple MES functional modules
- Integration experience with enterprise and shop-floor systems
- Strong SQL and Python scripting capabilities
- Understanding of ISA-95 and manufacturing data standards
- Data modeling and performance optimization experience
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Self-directed with strong execution discipline
- Clear communication with technical and functional stakeholders
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Strong time management and prioritization skills
- Willingness to mentor junior team members
