Job Description
Content Editor reviewing and enhancing content for projects at Sikh Research Institute. Focus on clarity, accuracy, and consistency in scholarly and academic materials during contract period.
Responsibilities:
- Refine and polish written content across multiple projects
- Comprehensive copyediting and proofreading of longform reports, including feedback on structure, clarity, and flow
- Editing longform articles for grammar, readability, and consistency
- Editing shortform factsheets for flow
Requirements:
- Demonstrated experience editing longform nonfiction, academic, or research-oriented content
- Strong command of grammar, style, and clarity
- Ability to preserve an author's voice while improving readability
- Familiarity with Sikh history, tradition, or related fields
- Familiarity with SikhRI content and voice
