Job Description

Content Marketing Strategist developing research-driven SEO content for Kalungi, an agency helping B2B SaaS companies grow. Creating multi-channel campaigns, lifecycle collateral, and brand messaging for client growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop comprehensive content strategies aligned with business objectives, funnel stages, audience personas, and market trends
  • Own, define, and create client brand voice, messaging, and positioning guides
  • Use research and analytics to craft narratives aligned with client values and priorities
  • Ensure content follows SEO best practices and supports lead generation and brand awareness
  • Identify content gaps and recommend topics using SEO research, site analytics, and competitor performance
  • Produce content in formats including ad copy, testimonials, articles, lead nurture copy, ABM copy, blog posts, social posts, case studies, video scripts, and white papers
  • Create and manage social media and editorial calendars
  • Identify and implement distribution channels to maximize content reach and engagement
  • Create customer lifecycle marketing collateral to drive marketing qualified leads through integrated campaigns
  • Collaborate with cross-functional agency teams, departments, and stakeholders to collect and organize information

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent working experience in Content Marketing or Content Strategy
  • 4+ years of experience
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and communication skills
  • Advanced knowledge of SEMRush, Google Search Console, and Google Analytics
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Familiarity with B2B SaaS landscape, trends, and audience nuances
  • Experience with HubSpot is a plus
  • Background creating content across multiple channels and audiences/personas
  • Professional experience conceiving, writing, editing, and distributing marketing and sales materials
  • Ability to simplify technical and complex topics
  • Strong on-page SEO knowledge and experience using topic clusters
  • Ability to collaborate across departments and stakeholders
  • Attention to detail, curiosity, self-improvement, accountability, and process-oriented thinking
  • Cover letter and spontaneous video introduction required; applicants lacking either may be disqualified
