Job Description

Shopify Marketing Specialist managing daily health and optimization of e-commerce stores for marine dock parts. Collaborating with internal teams and external consultants to enhance store performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Own the day-to-day health of Shopify stores (“walk the floor”)
  • Identify and fix broken links, UX issues, and technical inconsistencies
  • Manage SKUs, products, collections, pricing, and metadata
  • Ensure site accuracy, performance, and functionality across all brands
  • Support Shopify SEO and CRO improvements (on-page, product pages, navigation, conversion flows)
  • Collaborate with design and marketing teams on site updates and optimizations
  • Join all relevant technical and e-commerce calls (Shopify consultants, web dev, Google Ads, marketing)
  • Act as the primary Shopify point of contact across teams
  • Work closely with developers to implement fixes, enhancements, and new features
  • Support and manage Shopify integrations across the tech stack
  • NetSuite experience is a strong plus (inventory, order, financial integrations)
  • Champion integrations for newly acquired companies
  • For senior-level candidates: lead technical calls and manage Shopify projects end-to-end

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, E-commerce, or a related field is preferred
  • 3+ years of hands-on Shopify experience in an e-commerce environment
  • Proven experience maintaining, optimizing, and troubleshooting Shopify stores
  • Experience working in product-based or e-commerce businesses
  • Comfortable working remotely and independently
  • Strong working knowledge of e-commerce operations and workflows
  • NetSuite experience (highly preferred / top-tier qualification)
  • Shopify SEO and conversion rate optimization (CRO)
  • Familiarity with Google Ads from a technical or implementation perspective
  • Exposure to Amazon e-commerce environments
  • Experience working with multiple brands or storefronts
  • Basic understanding of HTML/CSS (not required, but helpful)

Benefits:

  • Monthly compensation range of $2,000–$4,000 USD, depending on experience and demonstrated competency
  • Monthly health and wellness reimbursement, capped at $50 USD
