Job Description
Remote Contracts Manager supporting JLL’s construction and data-center projects. Maintaining contract records, documents, milestones, compliance, and commercial tracking.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain contract files, records, and documentation according to established filing procedures
- Prepare routine contract documents such as purchase orders, subcontracts, and standard amendments under supervision
- Organize and distribute contract correspondence, notices, and submittals to project stakeholders
- Review contract documents for completeness and accuracy with guidance from senior team members
- Track contract milestones, key dates, and renewal deadlines using standard templates and checklists
- Log and track change orders, variations, and scope modifications in tracking systems
- Collect and organize payment applications, invoices, and supporting documentation
- Perform data entry for commercial tracking systems and maintain organized cost records
- Compile documentation and information related to project issues or potential claims under supervision
- Provide administrative support for contract meetings, including scheduling, preparing materials, and taking notes
- Prepare routine contract status reports using standard templates
- Track contract compliance requirements, insurance certificates, and required documentation
- Maintain contact lists and communication logs for contractors, consultants, and clients
- Learn contract administration, commercial processes, and construction terminology through on-the-job training

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, Real Estate, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience)
- 0-1 year prior professional experience
- Basic understanding of construction or real estate industry is helpful but not required
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail with ability to maintain accurate records
- Good written and verbal communication skills for routine business correspondence
- Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Ability to follow established procedures and take direction from supervisors
- Willingness to learn and develop knowledge of contract administration and commercial management
- Ability to manage straightforward tasks with supervision and meet deadlines
- Professional demeanor and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship
- Preferred: Internship or co-op experience in construction, real estate, contract administration, or related field
- Preferred: Coursework in construction management, contract law, project management, or business administration
- Preferred: Basic familiarity with construction terminology or contract documents through academic study
- Preferred: Exposure to document management systems or project management software
- Preferred: Interest in pursuing professional development in contract management or quantity surveying
- Preferred: Experience with administrative support, document organization, or record-keeping in any professional setting
- Preferred: Basic understanding of business documents and standard contracting processes
