Job Description
Copy Editor editing promotional materials for global pharmaceutical clients at Indegene, a healthcare technology solutions provider. Ensuring compliant, accurate, style-guided content.
Responsibilities:
- Edit promotional material content for global pharmaceutical clients, checking language, grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and adherence to brand/client guidelines
- Proofread materials to ensure text has not been added or deleted inadvertently
- Ensure MLR reviewer comments are implemented in final compliance copy
- Proofread ISI against the approved version
- Format documents according to journal and congress guidelines
- Ensure adherence to AMA Manual of Style, brand style, and client guidelines
- Consistently deliver high-quality edits exceeding client expectations
- Contribute to knowledge-sharing exercises and resource documentation
- Participate in lead team meetings to discuss complex review resolutions and approaches
- Participate in client calls and collaborate with internal stakeholders for smooth project execution
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in life science / English
- Excellent written and spoken English skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Functional knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Familiarity with AMA Manual of Style and client-specific style guides
- Ability to work under tight timelines and in a collaborative team environment
- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Ability to guide and mentor team members
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality, error-free documents
- Experience in client-facing roles or participating in client calls (nice to have)
- Experience in developing training materials and conducting training sessions (nice to have)
- Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives (nice to have)
- Ability to contribute to knowledge-sharing and documentation efforts (nice to have)
