Job Description

Country Manager overseeing performance and strategy for Hungary's iGaming market. Responsible for customer acquisition, marketing lifecycle, and collaboration with Product and Operations teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Own customer acquisition, conversion and retention performance for the market, with clear accountability for revenue and profitability.
  • Define, execute and continuously optimise the market strategy across CRM and acquisition channels.
  • Manage the full marketing lifecycle for the market, including CRM, acquisition, media buying and affiliate partnerships, ensuring efficient use of budgets and strong ROI.
  • Own market budgets, forecasts and business plans, including ongoing financial tracking, variance analysis and performance reporting.
  • Take responsibility for annual budget planning and regular financial updates in collaboration with Finance.
  • Work closely with Product teams to support market-specific requirements across casino, live casino, sportsbook and related verticals, including localisation, promotions and product performance optimisation.
  • Monitor product and competitor performance, providing regular market insights and recommendations.
  • Coordinate with Operations teams (Customer Support, VIP, Payments where relevant) to ensure a consistent, high-quality local player experience.
  • Support and align VIP and customer lifecycle strategies to maximise player value and retention.
  • Collaborate with other Country Managers to share best practices and optimise cross-market synergies.

Requirements:

  • Experience as a Country Manager or similar role within iGaming/Online Casino
  • Previous product, acquisition or country manager experience with the focus on required market
  • In-depth knowledge and experience operating in the local market
  • Ability to analyze data, act quickly, and drive change to achieve goals and targets
  • Strong commercial acumen
  • Excellent networking and influencing skills
  • A proactive leader who leads by example
  • Experience working with remote teams across multiple time zones
