Job Description
Oversee daily operational performance for Defined Benefits clients at Alight. Manage operations teams and serve as primary contact regarding service delivery and solutions.
Responsibilities:
- overseeing daily operational performance for assigned client(s)
- manage operations teams to provide quality administrative services
- serve as the primary contact for clients regarding daily service delivery
- assist the Senior Client Manager/Client Leader in delivering solutions
- utilize expert knowledge of Canadian Defined Benefits to interpret complex client requirements
- address questions related to unique situations, participant inquiries, client escalations and requirements
- drive stable and consistent delivery from internal and external partners
- manage ad hoc client projects such as de-risking, spins, freezes and acquisitions
- validate, manage and communicate system testing results with clients
- identify opportunities for reducing demand and improving efficiency, creating cost savings opportunities and increasing delivery quality
- communicate regularly with day-to-day client contact on delivery and projects
- act as point of contact to internal groups such as Customer Care and supporting services for client specific items
Requirements:
- effective communication and influencing skills on domain and technical matters, internally and externally
- experience with Canadian pensions and plan provisions
- analytical abilities and attention to detail when working with complex data
- a solutions-oriented focus and ability to report data to stakeholders
- advanced management and organizational skills with ability to adapt to change
- Bachelor’s degree (business context preferred) or equivalent work experience required
