Job Description

Denial Support Representative responsible for handling denied and underpaid insurance claims. Working with various clients in the denial department to ensure accurate resolutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Requesting and Downloading Medical records
  • Writing appeals and reconsiderations
  • Researching accounts on various portals and within the client host systems
  • Creating spreadsheets
  • Correcting and resubmitting claims (HCFAs and UBs)
  • Completing assigned tasks within a timely and detailed order

Requirements:

  • 1 year of previous experience working with commercial or other third-party insurance claims, medical billing/follow-up
  • An understanding of various forms, codes (CPT & ICD), insurance terminology and insurance company remittance advice
  • Certificates, Licenses, Registrations, and/or Medicare certification are a plus, but not required
