Job Description
Corporate development director leading healthcare acquisitions, partnerships, joint ventures, and de novo imaging-center expansion. Building valuations, managing diligence, and advising executives on capital allocation.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluate, prioritize, and execute growth initiatives across acquisitions, physician partnerships, joint ventures, and de novo market expansion
- Lead financial and strategic evaluations for prospective opportunities
- Manage transaction execution from sourcing and pipeline tracking through due diligence, closing, and integration
- Coordinate cross-functional due diligence across legal, financial, operational, HR, and strategic workstreams
- Support transaction structuring and negotiation with Legal, Finance, and senior leadership
- Build and maintain financial models, valuation analyses, and supporting schedules
- Challenge assumptions, identify value drivers, and assess deal risks
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and market dynamics
- Evaluate and plan de novo imaging center opportunities in target growth markets
- Perform market and referral analyses with Operations and Sales teams
- Develop volume capture models and ramp assumptions to prioritize expansion sites
- Prepare investment memoranda, business cases, pipeline updates, and presentations for the Investment Committee, Board, and senior leadership
- Refine investment evaluation tools, transaction frameworks, data rooms, and performance metrics
- Support post-merger integration, track post-close milestones, and evaluate performance against the deal thesis
- Mentor junior analysts and team members
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required
- MBA or advanced degree preferred
- 8-10+ years of experience in Corporate Development, Healthcare Strategy, Investment Banking, M&A, or Strategic Finance
- Proven track record supporting or executing healthcare transactions, acquisitions, physician partnerships, or de novo developments from evaluation to close
- Advanced proficiency in financial modeling and valuation techniques, including DCF and comparable-company analyses
- Experience managing structured due diligence workstreams
- Solid understanding of healthcare industry dynamics, outpatient service models, and physician referral dynamics
- Strong organizational and project management skills for coordinating complex cross-functional projects
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to present detailed analysis to senior leaders
- Ability to maintain discretion with confidential deal information
