Job Description
Director leading customer onboarding for R1, a healthcare revenue management technology provider. Aligning customers and internal teams while mitigating risks and driving operational transformation.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and track all aspects of customer onboarding, including key milestones, deliverables, and timelines
- Mitigate project risks
- Develop deep operational expertise and understanding of R1's business model
- Partner with customer executive teams as a thought leader
- Participate in R1 strategy development as a thought leader and content expert
- Share best practices, optimize performance, and lead transformation
- Drive cross-functional alignment across R1 and customer organizations
- Partner with Customer Executive teams to align operational objectives
- Deliver highly satisfied, referenceable customer counterparts, including CFOs, CEOs, and Executive Sponsors
- Travel up to 25%
Requirements:
- 5–8 years of management experience, preferably in project management, performance/continuous improvement, or consulting
- 2–4 years of functional back-end revenue cycle experience in Billing, Claims, Denials, Follow Up, or Cash Posting
- Strong skills with Microsoft Office, including PowerPoint, Visio, Excel, and Word
- Strong internal communication skills and ability to work with all organizational levels
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple customers, projects, tasks, and expectations simultaneously
- Ability to ensure customer satisfaction through follow-up, responsiveness, and thorough communication
- Ability to travel up to 25%
