Job Description
Director managing Warner Music Group’s global Record-to-Report finance processes across GBS centers. Leading process owners, system performance, integrations, master data, and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Manage intake of new work into the global business services platform
- Lead complex projects involving M&A integration and migration of finance work to Global Business Services
- Liaise between the M&A deal team, business stakeholders, and GBS delivery teams
- Centrally manage global Record-to-Report processes
- Ensure process adoption, maturity, consistency, and standards across regional GBS Centers
- Lead a team of functional Global Product Owners and escalate issues to the SVP Finance Operations
- Oversee system performance and manage functional and technical system resources
- Ensure integrations between existing systems and processes function properly
- Review and resolve issues, risks, and business impacts across RTR processes
- Identify internal and external best practices for continuous end-to-end process improvement
- Maintain process flows, master data, and data integrity
- Lead Subject Matter Resource engagement
- Update and validate learning content and support training delivery
- Manage policy updates and act as a change ambassador
Requirements:
- Knowledge of and experience with SAP
- Background in centralized service centers supporting financial operations for multiple legal entities, business groups, regions, countries, languages, and currencies
- Knowledge of change management theory and practice
- Demonstrated skills in financial process design, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement, especially record-to-report
- Stakeholder engagement and management skills in complex, multifaceted organizations
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
- Experience working with remote teams across multiple locations
- Media or entertainment experience preferred as an additional qualification
