Job Description

Global marketing director scaling molecular diagnostic solutions across Women’s Health and Infectious Disease. Leading commercialization, demand generation, and global marketing teams at Waters, a life sciences technology company.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead global marketing strategy and execution for the molecular diagnostics solutions portfolio across Women’s Health and Infectious Disease
  • Develop and deploy global go-to-market strategies, positioning, messaging, campaign frameworks, and launch activation plans
  • Drive demand generation and funnel acceleration through integrated marketing programs, digital and field campaigns, and customer engagement strategies
  • Partner with regional commercial leaders on tools, content, training, and sales enablement resources
  • Partner with Product Management to align marketing strategies, campaigns, launch plans, portfolio priorities, roadmap timing, product claims, and customer value propositions
  • Lead global launch commercialization readiness for new offerings
  • Use market insights, customer feedback, funnel analytics, competitive intelligence, and campaign performance data to refine strategies and identify growth opportunities
  • Build relationships with customers, key opinion leaders, and external stakeholders
  • Partner with Medical and Scientific Affairs, Clinical, Regulatory, and Legal stakeholders to ensure accurate and compliant promotional content
  • Drive performance through marketing planning, budget management, KPI tracking, and operating rigor
  • Lead and develop a high-performing global marketing team

Requirements:

  • Ten or more years of progressive marketing, commercial, or go-to-market leadership experience in molecular diagnostics, IVD, medical devices, life sciences, or adjacent regulated healthcare markets
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams in matrixed global organizations
  • Demonstrated success developing global marketing strategies and delivering measurable business impact across complex global markets
  • Strong strategic and organizational leadership skills
  • Ability to set direction, lead through transformation, simplify complexity, and build alignment across senior cross-functional stakeholders
  • Deep customer orientation
  • Ability to engage credibly with key opinion leaders, laboratory leaders, clinical stakeholders, external partners, and senior executives
  • Proven ability to influence without authority across product management, R&D, regions, medical and scientific affairs, regulatory, finance, and commercial teams
  • Excellent executive communication, storytelling, and decision-making skills
  • Experience working across global regions and varying market maturity levels
  • Experience in regulated diagnostic environments is strongly preferred
  • Flexibility to travel globally up to 30% of the time
