Job Description

Director of Sales for Jabil responsible for generating sales in Semiconductor Capital Equipment with customer relationship management. Lead growth and define sales strategy for Intelligent Infrastructure segment.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for generating sales from new and existing customers within the Intelligent Infrastructure segment, with a specific focus on Semiconductor Capital Equipment
  • Demonstrate a thorough understanding of the Semiconductor Sub-System ecosystem
  • Maintain contact with the customer at a high, executive level focusing on the strategic nature of the relationship
  • Lead growth with selecting strategic customers, attract specific new logo’s and lead expansion of market sales for specific sub-system growth targets
  • Define, develop and implement a sales strategy, which contributes to the corporate sales strategic direction
  • Work closely with Business Development, Operations, and legal groups for quote and contract development
  • Prepare timely forecasts for the sales department

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business or related area; MBA and EE preferred
  • 10-15 years’ experience preferred or a combination of education, experience and/or training with 10+ years in photonics specifically
  • Prior contract manufacturing sales experience highly preferred
  • Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate regarding common scientific and/or technical journals, financial reports, and legal documents
  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors
  • Advanced PC skills, including training and knowledge of Jabil’s software packages
  • Strong knowledge of global and regional logistics operations and industry
  • Strong financial and analytical ability.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products (Excel, Word and PowerPoint) and email skills required.
