Job Description
Sales Director for GE Vernova focusing on decarbonization software solutions in North America. Responsible for generating new business opportunities and achieving sales targets in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Achieve monthly, quarterly, and yearly sales targets by creating, developing and closing sales pipeline
- Develop and expand Account Plans for key accounts within territory
- Conduct prospecting activities and research to gain access to new business prospects and stimulate client interest
- Develop and execute sales strategies to articulate specific sales approaches and differentiate our CERius solution from the competition
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, earning their trust through value-driven engagements and solid execution
- Ensure a professional sales experience for customers, including formal meeting agendas, prompt follow-ups, and timely issue resolution
- Maintain accurate information in the CRM system
- Be willing to travel to customer locations and company offices as needed (up to 50% of the time)
- Leverage feedback from clients and internal teams to refine your sales approach
- Become an expert in ESG and educate clients on how to leverage CERius to meet their sustainability goals
Requirements:
- Proven Sales Experience: At least 4-5 years of experience in sales, with a strong track record of generating and closing new business
- Must have 2-3+ years of demonstrated success selling enterprise level deals to C-suite stakeholders
- Exceptional Prospecting Skills: Demonstrated success in cold calling, email outreach, and using tools like LinkedIn and other prospecting methods to generate new leads
- Sales Process Mastery: Solid understanding of the full sales cycle, from prospecting to closing and having with a consultative selling approach like Challenger Sales, Miller Heiman, etc.
- Negotiation Skills: Comfortable handling objections and driving discussions to close deals in a way that benefits both the customer and the business
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills as a consultative seller - listening deeply to customers and excelling by helping them solve their problems
- Bachelor’s degree in business, STEM or related discipline from an accredited college or university
