Job Description
Director of Product Management at Anthology coordinating delivery of education technology products. Leading cross-functional teams to drive innovation in LMS and enrollment management solutions.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate a team of Product Managers
- Collaborate with software development managers
- Leverage expertise in admissions and enrollment management trends
- Maintain active awareness of market and competitive trends
- Serve as a subject matter expert for LMS products
- Work closely with teams contributing to product delivery
- Create and guide strategies to achieve company objectives
- Inform executive-level decision-making
- Ensure product managers develop expertise and competency
- Attend to individual needs and career growth paths of employees
- Guide collaboration with Data Science and User Experience teams
- Communicate and seek feedback throughout the organization
- Collaborate with Data Science team to address user problems
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 10-12 years of experience in commercial software product management or relevant industry experience
- Experience working with Agile development teams
- Demonstrated ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams
- Demonstrated ability to effectively deal with ambiguity/autonomy
- Excellent written, communication, and presentation skills
- Strong strategic thinking and business acumen
- Proficiency with quantitative business analysis techniques
- Strong understanding of web-based technologies
- Strong customer and student empathy
- Passion for education
- Fluency in written and spoken English.
- Advanced Degree (preferred)
- Experience with LMS platform (preferred)
- Familiarity with postsecondary and secondary education markets (preferred)
