Job Description
AbbVie district manager leading immunology sales across Louisiana and Arkansas. Coaching field teams, executing sales plans, and growing pharmaceutical performance.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate commercial activity within in-field teams to increase sales within the assigned geography
- Create, implement, and communicate the District Sales Plan and monitor progress
- Coordinate in-field activity to achieve results and agreed-upon targets
- Maximize market, segment, and team dynamics to drive top- and bottom-line results
- Ensure smooth, collaborative day-to-day and long-term business execution
- Set the tone and pace for business processes and organization
- Present market and franchise/business perspectives when leading teams
- Champion in-field meetings by mastering product, disease-state, and managed-care information
- Coach, mentor, educate, and develop direct and indirect team members
- Hold direct reports accountable to behaviors and expectations
- Provide direction and insights to key internal partners during business planning
- Consistently exemplify the AbbVie Ways of Working
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in health, sciences, pharmacy or business-related field preferred, or relevant and equivalent industry experience required
- Minimum four years of pharmaceutical sales management experience; external management experience can be considered
- Business analysis and planning skills that drive sales performance
- In good standing with safety and compliance standards
- Currently meeting performance expectations

- Excellent judgment and decision-making skills
- Ability to articulate the scientific aspects of treatments and therapeutic areas
- Proven ability to deliver candid, effective feedback and efficiently manage performance

- Satisfy all applicable health care industry representative credentialing requirements
- Be in good standing and/or eligible to obtain required HCIR credentials
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening test and meet safe driving requirements
