Job Description

Senior Lean Manager driving Lean and TPS transformation across GE Vernova’s gas manufacturing sites. Leading Kaizen, BIQ deployment, capability building, and best-practice standardization.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the deployment of Lean strategy across Gas manufacturing facilities in alignment with GE Vernova’s operational priorities and Global Supply Chain standards
  • Plan and execute high-impact Kaizen events focused on flow, lead-time reduction, productivity, and defect elimination
  • Partner with site leaders and cross-functional teams to build Lean capability
  • Provide hands-on coaching in Daily Management, problem-solving, and continuous improvement
  • Lead Built-In Quality (BIQ) deployment through standardized work, error-proofing, and process control
  • Identify, standardize, and deploy best practices across Gas sites
  • Accelerate Lean maturity and ensure consistency across the Gas network

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field
  • Significant experience in Lean Manufacturing within a complex industrial or heavy manufacturing environment
  • Proven track record of leading site-wide transformation initiatives
  • Strong hands-on experience implementing Toyota Production System (TPS) principles, including laminar flow, Jidoka, pull systems/Kanban, TPM, and single-piece flow
  • Practical experience with lean innovations such as Moonshine systems and Karakuri-based automation
  • Strong ability to influence, coach, and drive cultural transformation across diverse, multi-site organizations
  • Preferred: Prior experience working with Shingijutsu, Toyota, or equivalent world-class Lean organizations
  • Preferred: Experience in heavy industry, such as gas turbines or large equipment
