Job Description
Dynamics 365 Operations professional managing and optimizing Microsoft SCM solutions for a client in India. Configuring D365 modules, supporting implementations, testing, integrations, and process improvements.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support Microsoft Dynamics 365 applications, focusing on Operations and Supply Chain Management
- Analyze business requirements and translate them into D365 configurations and solutions
- Configure and maintain modules for procurement, inventory, warehouse management, production, planning, logistics, and order management
- Understand operational challenges and recommend process improvements with business users
- Participate in implementation, enhancement, customization, and rollout of D365 SCM and Operations solutions
- Manage functional requirements through gathering, solution design, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support
- Collaborate with technical teams on integrations, customizations, workflows, reports, and data migration
- Identify system issues, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate resolution
- Support UAT, SIT, regression testing, test scenarios, and documentation
- Align D365 processes with business policies, operational requirements, and industry best practices
- Assist with data migration, master data management, system upgrades, and release management
- Prepare functional specifications, process documentation, user guides, and training materials
- Monitor system performance and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency
- Work with Finance, Procurement, Sales, Warehouse, Manufacturing, IT, and Operations teams
Requirements:
- 6–12 years of relevant experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365
- Strong hands-on experience with D365 Operations
- Strong functional knowledge of Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management (SCM)
- Experience with Procurement & Sourcing, Inventory Management, Warehouse Management, Master Planning, Production Control, and Sales & Distribution
- Strong understanding of end-to-end business processes and their implementation within D365
- Experience in requirements gathering, functional design, configuration, testing, and production support
- Ability to troubleshoot D365 functional issues and work effectively with technical teams
- Experience translating business requirements into scalable D365 solutions
- Understanding of D365 integrations, workflows, security roles, data entities, and reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- Good-to-have: Power Platform, Power BI, Power Automate, D365 Finance & Operations architecture, integration frameworks, D365 implementation or migration projects, Agile/Scrum, relevant Microsoft Dynamics 365 certifications, and global implementations
