Job Description
Estimator handling quantity takeoffs and cost estimations for construction projects. Collaborating with team members to ensure comprehensive bid proposals and utilizing on-screen takeoff software.
Responsibilities:
- Perform accurate quantity takeoffs from construction drawings and specifications
- Assist in compiling and analyzing cost estimates for projects
- Collaborate with estimators and project managers to ensure comprehensive bid proposals
- Utilize on-screen takeoff software
Requirements:
- 5+ years experience with quantity takeoff and estimating
- Strong understanding of construction processes; MEP background is a plus but not required
- Proficiency in any on-screen takeoff software (Bluebeam, Planswift, OST, etc.)
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
