Job Description

Resource Technician working on wind turbines across multiple sites in Canada. Responsibilities include maintenance, travel, and teamwork for clean energy.

Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose, repair, and maintain wind turbines as part of your team.
  • Travel to different sites, work with diverse teams, and gain varied experiences, including managing travel logistics and cost coding.
  • Perform safety inspections and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Troubleshoot complex issues with strong self-management.
  • Work on construction and installation projects and oversee the full lifecycle of turbines.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 6 months with a wind energy technician certificate, or 1 year of wind turbine experience, or 2 years in mechanical or electrical fields.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
  • Strong safety awareness and commitment to best practices.
  • Ability to work well in a team and thrive in collaborative environments.
  • Good physical condition; comfortable working in a variety of conditions and at height.
  • Ability to speak, read, and follow instructions in both French and English.
  • High school diploma (or equivalent), valid driver’s license, and legal authorization to work in Canada without current or future sponsorship required.
