Job Description
Remote Estimator writing Xactimate invoices for restoration companies. Closing insurance claims, securing payments, and reducing days-to-payment.
Responsibilities:
- Write complete and accurate Xactimate invoices for completed water, mold, and fire restoration jobs within 24 hours of completion
- Compile supporting documentation, including photos and moisture logs
- Submit complete claim files to insurance carriers within 48 hours
- Conduct claim follow-ups on a fixed, alternating bi-weekly schedule
- Secure full claim payment and reduce average days-to-payment across the portfolio
- Coordinate with Project Managers to align scope, documentation, and job status throughout the claims process
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of property insurance claims
- Ability to meticulously manage high volumes of active files
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to identify discrepancies and handle adjuster pushback
- Ability to reach out to clients to collect private payments
- Highly organized and able to meet strict write-up and submission deadlines
- Proven hands-on experience with Xactimate estimating and sketching
- Familiarity with restoration platforms such as DASH, Encircle, CompanyCam, or Jobber
- Highly reliable internet connection
- Prepared to work securely on own device, potentially utilizing a VPN
