Job Description
Executive Director driving technology business management for City of Hope's technology investments. Aligning technology spending with enterprise priorities and optimizing for measurable outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the integration of TBM practices into annual and rolling strategic planning to ensure technology investments align with enterprise goals
- Shape and communicate the long‑term TBM vision, driving innovation, operational excellence, and transformation
- Establish governance structures that ensure strategic alignment, transparency, and accountability across technology programs and portfolios
- Provide executive‑level insights through financial transparency, cost modeling, and ROI analysis using TBM methodologies
- Serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, offering data‑driven recommendations on investment priorities and technology strategy
- Partner with Finance, Portfolio Management, and Technology leaders to optimize funding decisions and balance innovation with operational stability
- Lead organizational change efforts to embed TBM principles, promote agility, and foster continuous improvement
- Mentor and develop senior team members, building a high‑performance, collaborative culture
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree required; MBA or equivalent preferred
- 7+ years of experience in IT strategy, technology planning, financial management, or technology operations
- 5+ years of experience influencing C‑suite or executive‑level decision making
- 5+ years of people leadership or management experience
- Deep expertise in Technology Business Management frameworks, cost modeling, and financial analysis
- Proven success leading technology‑business integration initiatives
- Strong executive communication skills with the ability to translate complex data into compelling insights
- Demonstrated experience driving organizational change and cultural adoption of new operating models
