Job Description

Executive Director leading Nigerian VASP operations at RedotPay, a global crypto payment fintech. Managing compliance, risk, and strategy while overseeing operational resilience and governance standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership and overall management of the Nigerian VASP operations;
  • Lead day-to-day management and implementation of the entity’s VASP strategy (virtual asset exchange, custody, transfers, and related services);
  • Oversee governance, risk management, and compliance frameworks;
  • Manage relationships with SEC Nigeria and other regulators;
  • Ensure robust operational controls, client asset segregation, transaction monitoring, and business continuity arrangements;
  • Drive financial performance, operational efficiency, and risk culture;
  • Coordinate with group functions and report regularly to the local Board and group leadership;
  • Champion a compliance-first culture; participate actively in Board meetings; support the Board in fulfilling its fiduciary and regulatory responsibilities.

Requirements:

  • A first degree or its equivalent in a relevant field;
  • A first degree or its equivalent in a non-relevant field with a minimum of six (6) years’ relevant post-qualification experience;
  • A minimum of fifteen (15) years relevant post-qualification experience can be considered with a West African School Certificate, Senior Secondary School Certificate Examination certificate, General Certificate of Education or Higher School Certificate or its equivalent;
  • At least four (4) years’ relevant post-qualification experience (excluding NYSC year) in areas such as virtual assets, financial technology, financial services, capital markets, or adjacent sectors.
  • Experience in Nigerian VASP/fintech operations or licensing is highly desirable.
  • Appointment as Executive Director is subject to prior SEC approval as a Sponsored Individual / Principal Officer.
