Job Description

Sales Manager managing sales strategy and distributor relationships for animal nutrition company in Vietnam. Leading market strategies and customer collaboration across Vietnam with a focus on growth.

Responsibilities:

  • Accountable for development and execution of sales plan for assigned territory and key accounts in Vietnam, contribute to budget and business planning processes.
  • Accountable for distributor management, annual business plan design and target set up, drive the distributor to achieve targets.
  • Establish and maintain sustainable long-term business relationships with assigned accounts, influencers, and external partners, and understand their pain points, decision making drivers, and opportunities.
  • Coordinate technical service, marketing, logistics, customer service teams to support customers.
  • Manage the sales budget and planning at the assigned territory and key accounts.
  • Manage proper stewardship of Novus resources with close adherence to annual budget, investigate cost efficiencies as identified.
  • Build and maintain close relationships with customers to understand challenges and decision making drivers.
  • Participate in preparing forecast sales volumes for all product/channels for assigned accounts.
  • Collaborate with Novus Global SAM team, localize and deploy SAM strategy in Vietnam and expand to other relevant countries in Asia Pacific.
  • Manage CRM platform to monitor customer activity and team progress toward sales budget goals.
  • Adhere to the Novus Management System (NMS), Novus Integrity System (NIS) and all policies and procedures related to position assignment.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of experience in animal or feed industry.
  • Advanced degree (MS/MBA) or Bachelor’s degree and 10 years of related experience
  • Possesses and applies comprehensive knowledge of account management to the completion of complex assignments.
  • Proven expertise in animal protein and food industries, animal nutrition and health businesses.
  • Strong cross functional skills to effectively work with colleagues, manage conflict, negotiate effectively, and achieve desired results.
  • Sales and marketing experience and multicultural business knowledge to act on competitive landscape and market opportunities.
  • Recognized expertise in developing business strategies that successfully and consistently achieve sales targets for key accounts.
  • Ability to conduct complex situational analysis and quickly determine course of action in response to customer problems.
  • Ability to establish, grow and manage long-term relationships with customers for optimum results.
  • Fluent in local language, fluent in English.
