Job Description

Integrated Facilities Manager governing outsourced facilities operations, maintenance, reliability, and compliance for Solventum’s healthcare manufacturing network. Driving standards, supplier performance, and continuous improvement across global sites.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the IFM governance model across assigned manufacturing and operational facilities
  • Establish consistent standards, processes, service-delivery expectations, SLAs, KPIs, and performance-management practices
  • Serve as the primary governance interface with third-party IFM service providers and ensure contractual and SOW compliance
  • Partner with Site Operations leaders to evaluate supplier performance, staffing, technical capability, safety, service quality, and operational effectiveness
  • Lead supplier performance reviews and Quarterly Business Reviews, including corrective actions and escalation of systemic performance issues
  • Partner with Procurement and Site Operations leaders on contract changes, renewals, benchmarking, commercial performance, and continuous improvement
  • Drive preventive, predictive, and condition-based maintenance practices based on asset criticality and operational risk
  • Provide governance for CMMS processes, including asset data, preventive maintenance, work-order management, and performance reporting
  • Monitor maintenance and reliability KPIs, identify cross-site trends, and facilitate root-cause analysis and corrective actions
  • Leverage CMMS, BAS, analytics, IoT, and predictive technologies to improve asset reliability and reduce unplanned downtime
  • Support identification and mitigation of infrastructure risks, single points of failure, equipment obsolescence, and capacity constraints
  • Establish IFM provider and contractor expectations regarding safety, permitting, contractor safety, and site procedures
  • Support audit readiness and resolution of facilities-related compliance issues
  • Provide portfolio-level financial analytics, benchmarking, and reporting to identify cost trends, financial leakage, service inefficiencies, and optimization opportunities
  • Drive network-wide cost optimization while protecting safety, compliance, reliability, product quality, and manufacturing continuity
  • Develop standardized IFM processes, performance dashboards, and reporting; benchmark site performance and facilitate best-practice sharing
  • Identify opportunities for automation, digitalization, predictive analytics, energy efficiency, sustainability, and productivity improvement
  • Support business continuity and risk-management strategies for critical facilities and utility infrastructure

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher and 10+ years of facilities management, engineering, manufacturing infrastructure, or related experience; OR High School Diploma/GED and 14+ years of directly related experience
  • 8+ years of facilities experience within manufacturing, medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, life sciences, or other technically complex environments
  • Demonstrated experience with Integrated Facilities Management (IFM) and outsourced facilities service providers
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing facility infrastructure, utilities, maintenance, reliability, and critical building systems
  • Experience governing service-provider contracts, SOWs, SLAs, KPIs, and performance
  • Experience with CMMS, preventive/predictive maintenance, asset management, and facilities performance analytics
  • Strong understanding of EHS, regulatory compliance, facility risk, and business continuity
  • Demonstrated ability to influence site teams and service providers across a geographically dispersed, matrixed organization
  • Experience within a large medical device, pharmaceutical, healthcare, or advanced manufacturing organization
  • Experience managing or governing large-scale outsourced IFM programs and GMP cleanroom, laboratory, controlled environments, or validated utilities
  • Knowledge of reliability-centered maintenance, predictive maintenance, asset criticality, CMMS/IWMS, BAS, IoT, and predictive analytics
  • Strong financial, commercial, contract, supplier-management, communication, stakeholder-influence, change-management, and continuous-improvement skills
