Job Description

Cash Depot field technician installing, repairing, and maintaining ATMs and Air/Vac equipment in Chicago. Performing cash services, dispatches, equipment handling, and customer-site maintenance.

Responsibilities:

  • Install, convert, repair, and remove ATMs, Air/Vac equipment, and other Cash Depot products
  • Perform scheduled and requested cash replenishment and coin removal
  • Partner with the territory dispatcher to execute dispatch requests
  • Complete tasks assigned by supervisors or Cash Depot staff
  • Communicate inventory and support requests accurately and promptly
  • Complete administrative paperwork accurately and promptly
  • Maintain efficiency, safety, first-time-fix-rate, and other department metrics
  • Assist other technicians and provide ride-along training as needed
  • Follow all security procedures and policies
  • Maintain professional personal and vehicle image and required inventory standards
  • Attend training and maintain technical competencies for ATMs and Air Products
  • Identify and recommend efficiency improvements
  • Work independently with minimal supervision on a flexible schedule including on-call duty
  • Operate a service vehicle and work at customer locations, estimated at 50% of the shift
  • Use lifting equipment, hand tools, an iPad, and a cell phone

Requirements:

  • High School Degree / GED
  • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and ability to be insured through the Company’s risk insurer
  • Ability to drive a vehicle over 50% of the shift
  • Ability to work safely when lifting and performing position-related tasks
  • Experience in troubleshooting or electromechanical work
  • Ability to follow the Field Service Handbook expectations
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be organized, detailed, multitask, think critically, and solve problems
  • Accuracy, thoroughness, and adaptability to workplace or duty changes
  • Ability to lift and handle equipment and materials, including items up to 310 lbs. with lifting equipment and ATMs weighing 280–875 lbs. with lifting equipment
  • Ability to work nights, weekends, holidays, and on-call duty
  • Ability to speak, hear, write, and/or type for customer communications and reports
  • Normal near, distance, color, peripheral, and depth vision and normal sense of sound
