Job Description

Finance Manager focusing on controlling, reporting, and operational strategic processes in a finance team. Seeking an analytical person with a hands-on mentality for customer experience driven marketing.

Responsibilities:

  • Controlling (approx. 50%) Maintenance and further development of operational and strategic controlling
  • Participation in monthly closings including variance analyses, forecasts and deviation analyses
  • Project controlling (contribution margins, capacity utilization, profitability analyses)
  • Development and enhancement of KPIs, dashboards and management reports (including AI-supported solutions)
  • Close collaboration with the CFO, executive management and operational units to steer performance
  • Accounting, reporting & planning (approx. 30%) Participation in monthly and annual financial statements and accounting
  • Preparation of internal management reports
  • Annual planning, forecasting and liquidity planning
  • Support with banking and tax advisor matters
  • Further development of financial processes and systems
  • Projects & special topics (approx. 20%) Participation in projects (e.g., performance management, process optimization)
  • Support with contracts involving customers, suppliers and partners
  • Support with M&A-related topics, business cases or investment calculations

Requirements:

  • Completed university degree with a focus on finance / controlling / accounting / economics
  • At least 5 years of relevant professional experience in a comparable finance or controlling role
  • Experience in project-based business (ideally in a service or agency environment)
  • Very good analytical skills as well as a structured, independent way of working
  • Strong team skills and professional communication at eye level with management and departments
  • Knowledge of controlling, reporting or accounting
  • High IT affinity (Excel / BI tools / Datev / AI advantageous)
