Job Description
Freelance Copywriter creating German LinkedIn, newsletter, and long-form content for SAWOO’s executive communities. Supporting audience engagement and community growth across the DACH region.
Responsibilities:
- Write LinkedIn posts for senior professionals and executives
- Create structured LinkedIn and email newsletters
- Produce deep-dive articles and case studies based on expert interviews
- Create show notes, episode titles and episode descriptions
- Develop interview guides including agendas and core questions
- Write event follow-up posts for cities and communities
- Create WhatsApp short-form content and playbooks
- Use Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring and transcript preparation
- Coordinate with clients, gather feedback, information and approvals, and incorporate them
- Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and content team
- Create, publish and schedule high-quality content using the relevant tools
- Monitor content performance and actively evolve the content strategy
- Manage multiple German-speaking communities with different hosts, tones and rules
Requirements:
- Native-level German
- English at least B2 level, preferably C1
- At least 3 years' experience as a copywriter or content writer, ideally in a B2B or digital media environment
- Strong portfolio of German-language writing across multiple formats is required
- Experience writing for a professional or executive audience is a strong plus
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO is an advantage
- Experience with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack and a CMS such as Sanity is a plus
- Clean formatting and publication-ready copy
- Confident handling of community hosts, independent deadline management and consistent enforcement of community rules
- Apply in German with a CV, short cover letter, writing portfolio showing at least two formats, expected hourly rate and available weekly capacity
- Willingness to complete a short writing test for shortlisted candidates
