Job Description
Freelance Copywriter creating German LinkedIn, newsletter, and long-form content for SAWOO’s C-level communities. Supporting member growth through high-quality, AI-assisted editorial work.
Responsibilities:
- Write content for German-speaking C-level decision-makers at large organizations
- Provide relevant thought leadership and attract new community members
- Write LinkedIn posts for senior professionals
- Create LinkedIn newsletters and email newsletters
- Write deep-dive articles and case studies based on expert interviews
- Create show notes, episode titles, and episode descriptions
- Prepare interview guides with agendas and key questions
- Create event follow-up posts per city and community
- Produce short-form content for WhatsApp and special formats such as playbooks
- Use Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and transcript processing
- Review and edit AI-generated output
- Communicate with clients, gather and incorporate feedback, information, and approvals
- Coordinate with the Content Coordinator and content team
- Create content according to guidelines, publish and schedule it yourself
- Monitor content performance and contribute to the development of the content strategy
- Manage multiple German-speaking communities in parallel and switch between different tones and rules
Requirements:
- German at native level
- Confident English, at least B2 (preferably C1)
- At least 3 years of experience as a copywriter or content writer
- Strong portfolio of German-language texts across multiple formats is required
- Experience in B2B or digital media environments is a plus
- Experience writing for a professional or executive audience is a clear advantage
- Basic knowledge of on-page SEO is beneficial
- Experience with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack and a CMS such as Sanity is a plus
- Clean formatting and publication-ready texts
- Independent, structured and proactive working style
- Ability to consistently apply strict guidelines on tone of voice, linking, tagging and language logic
- Availability for at least 10 hours per week
- Apply in German with a CV, a short cover letter, a writing portfolio containing at least two formats, your hourly rate expectation, and available weekly capacity
- Participation in a short writing test for candidates shortlisted
