Job Description
Global Procurement and Technical Support Team Leader at GE Aerospace managing sourcing and procurement processes to achieve contractual conditions and improve efficiency. Leads technical teams and partners across operations for optimal delivery.
Responsibilities:
- Negotiate with dedicated providers according to specific policies
- Achieve the best contractual conditions while ensuring internal customer satisfaction
- Own sourcing specific processes and tools
- Review and improve processes
- Work on special initiatives
- Own the source to pay process for the A&P team
- Ensure FLIGHT DECK is used to remove waste and increase efficiency
- Partner with the Commercial and Business Sourcing Operations teams for training and efficiency gains
- Act as a conduit between various teams to meet company demands
- Lead operational partnerships to drive fundamental improvements
- Utilize data analytics to streamline processes and meet business needs
- Lead technical teams to identify risks and improve delivery
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university (or high school diploma/GED with at least 14 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally Sourcing and Procurement)
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Supply Chain, ideally Sourcing and Procurement
- Experience leading process improvement efforts
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems
- Established project management skills
- Experience in Sourcing, Shop Operations, or Manufacturing Engineering
- Manufacturing Experience in Aerospace or Automotive a plus
- Right to Work in the UK
- Security Clearance Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance is required
