Job Description

Google Ads strategist owning end-to-end growth campaigns for DTC and eCommerce brands at Sweat Pants Agency. Managing budgets, attribution, tracking, feeds, and client relationships.

Responsibilities:

  • Own a set of DTC and eCommerce accounts as strategist, buyer, and direct client point of contact
  • Manage monthly budgets ranging from $5,000 to well into six figures
  • Present results, plans, and reasoning directly to clients
  • Audit accounts before making changes and create Loom walkthroughs of findings
  • Separate brand and non-brand performance and report them independently
  • Manage Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, and GTM across the funnel
  • Monitor and control Google automation features
  • Maintain Merchant Center feed hygiene and resolve disapprovals and promotions issues
  • Own conversion tracking and investigate discrepancies in reported numbers
  • Diagnose funnel bottlenecks and implement fixes across creative, offers, AOV, landing pages, checkout, and tracking
  • Build and ship landing pages, scripts, and reporting with AI-assisted tools
  • Optimize toward NC-CPA and NC-ROAS using attribution analysis and geo holdouts

Requirements:

  • Hands-on Google Ads experience with meaningful spend on DTC and eCommerce accounts
  • Demonstrable results involving CPA, ROAS, revenue, and changes made to achieve them
  • Experience with Shopping and PMax, not only Search
  • Fluency across Search, Shopping, PMax, Demand Gen, YouTube, Merchant Center, GA4, and GTM
  • AI-native; already using Claude or an equivalent as a working tool
  • Ability to build and ship landing pages using Claude or an equivalent
  • Native or near-native English communication skills
  • Ability to explain ideas clearly, sell recommendations, push back on clients, and proactively raise problems
  • Ability to work US Eastern business hours for client calls
  • Bing experience is a nice to have
  • Experience building or operating a Shopify store, or running Meta at spend, is a bonus
  • Ability to own client relationships and accounts end to end
  • Ability to audit campaign structure, keywords, search terms, negatives, bidding, impression share, feed health, landing pages, audiences, and conversion tracking
  • Knowledge of brand versus non-brand account strategy
  • Understanding of PMax branded versus incremental volume
  • Ability to manage Google automation, including auto-applied recommendations, assets, and sitelinks
  • Merchant Center feed management, including product titles, disapprovals, and promotions
  • Tracking knowledge including GA4, GTM, Shopify goal imports, Google Ads tags, enhanced conversions, and offline conversion imports
  • Ability to diagnose and address creative, offer, AOV, landing page, checkout, and tracking bottlenecks
  • Ability to build landing pages, scripts, and reporting
