Job Description
Leitung der IT-Infrastruktur und Cybersecurity beim europäischen Verpackungs- und Kontraktlogistikanbieter AXXUM. Sicherstellung eines stabilen, sicheren IT-Betriebs an deutschen und europäischen Standorten.
Responsibilities:
- Overall responsibility for IT infrastructure and its further development
- Contribute to the group-wide IT strategy as well as processes, standards and solutions
- Lead and develop 6 employees across multiple locations, predominantly remote
- Continuously adapt departmental structures to operational requirements
- Ensure smooth operation of internal network and IT telecommunication systems, including workplace management
- Ensure operation and further development of server and client systems in the data center (housing/hosting)
- Provide 1st- and 2nd-level support
- Improve incident, problem and change management processes within the infrastructure environment
- Develop and implement IT policies in accordance with ISO 27001 and common security standards
- Evaluate and introduce new technologies to optimize stability, efficiency, scalability and security
- Manage external service providers
Requirements:
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or comparable qualification
- Several years of leadership experience in IT with a focus on IT infrastructure (both on-premises and cloud) and IT security
- Proven competence in change management and leading teams through transformation processes
- Deep understanding of infrastructure security and cybersecurity practices
- Experience with backup and recovery as well as patch management
- Process-oriented mindset
- Solid experience with IT service management frameworks, preferably ITIL
- Experience with ticketing systems, ideally Jira
- Ideally very good knowledge of modern workplace environments, particularly Microsoft 365 (Exchange, SharePoint, Teams, Entra, Intune)
- Strategic thinker with a hands-on mentality
- Very good German and English skills
- Willingness to travel approx. twice a month
