Job Description
Healthcare Customer Service Advocate supporting U.S. healthcare members by handling inquiries and processing claims. Work remotely from Manila with focus on benefits and eligibility verification.
Responsibilities:
- Support U.S. healthcare members by handling benefits inquiries, eligibility verification, and medical claims processing.
- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to healthcare benefits, eligibility, and medical claims.
- Explain claims status, denials, EOBs, and coverage limitations to members.
- Research and resolve claims-related concerns using internal healthcare systems.
- Accurately document interactions and resolutions in CRM tools.
- Meet defined productivity, quality, and HIPAA compliance standards.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
- Minimum 2 years' experience in healthcare BPO, call center, or healthcare customer service
- Familiarity with Medicare processes and patient care protocols is a plus.
- Working healthcare knowledge of benefits, eligibility, and medical claims processing
- Strong English communication, active listening, and multitasking skills
- High attention to detail and discretion when handling sensitive information
- Able to perform in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment
- Proficiency in computer systems and CRM tools.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, graveyard shift, holidays and weekends if required.
- Candidate residing in Manila or nearby provinces is preferred.
- Can start ASAP.
