Job Description
HR and Recruitment Coordinator managing recruitment, onboarding, compliance, and employee support. Supporting a growing South African team remotely during EST business hours.
Responsibilities:
- Screen resumes received through Indeed and the company website.
- Review applications and identify qualified candidates.
- Schedule interviews and coordinate candidate availability.
- Conduct interviews and assess candidate suitability.
- Extend job offers and communicate next steps to successful candidates.
- Maintain regular communication with candidates throughout the hiring process.
- Guide new hires through the onboarding process.
- Answer onboarding-related questions and ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Download, organise, and file onboarding documentation accurately.
- Complete background checks, healthcare checks, and certification verifications.
- Follow up with candidates to ensure onboarding is completed promptly.
- Respond to employee questions regarding benefits, PTO, and general HR processes.
- Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
- Assist with administrative tasks that support the HR function.
- Provide support wherever needed to help the team operate efficiently.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in Recruitment, Talent Acquisition, HR Administration, People Operations, or a similar role.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A professional and approachable communication style.
- High attention to detail when handling documentation.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working independently while contributing as a team player.
- Proactive, motivated, and willing to step in where needed.
- A fast learner with a flexible and adaptable mindset.
- Experience with Indeed, Calendly, ClickUp, or Viventium is advantageous but not required.
