Job Description

HR Business Partner serving as a strategic advisor to Premier Equipment’s leadership teams. Engaging with employees and leaders to foster a positive culture and drive retention.

Responsibilities:

  • The HR Business Partner (HRBP) serves as a strategic advisor and operational support to Premier Equipment’s leadership teams.
  • This role bridges the gap between corporate HR and store operations, ensuring alignment of people strategies with business objectives.
  • The HRBP will proactively engage with leaders and employees to foster a positive culture, drive retention, and support talent development while providing hands-on assistance with HR processes.
  • The HRBP will support approximately 10 stores in Eastern Ontario.

Requirements:

  • 8+ years of HR experience, preferably in a business partner role.
  • Strong business acumen and operational understanding; experience in retail, equipment operations, or blue collar environments preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal, influencing, coaching, and consulting skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and travel regularly to store locations.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field.
