Job Description
Task Force Director of Rooms overseeing front office, housekeeping, and guest services. Driving hotel performance, guest satisfaction, team development, and financial results for Crescent Hotels & Resorts.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all aspects of the Rooms Division, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, Guest Services, and related areas
- Lead and manage Rooms Division teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Oversee daily operations of Front Office, Housekeeping, Laundry, and Guest Services departments
- Manage inventory including linen and pars
- Ensure seamless interdepartmental communication and collaboration
- Monitor and respond to guest feedback, ensuring effective service recovery and continuous improvement
- Manage departmental budgets, labor productivity, and cost controls to meet or exceed financial targets
- Develop and implement strategies to elevate service quality and operational efficiency
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop department leaders and team members
- Ensure compliance with safety, hygiene, and brand standards
- Maintain a visible presence during peak guest periods to support the team and engage with guests
- Collaborate with Sales, Engineering, and Food & Beverage to drive overall success
Requirements:
- Must have availability to travel up to 100% of the time
- Minimum 3 years of Rooms Division leadership experience in a full-service hotel environment
- Must have both Hilton and Marriott full-service experience
- Demonstrated ability to lead, inspire, and develop high-performing teams
- Strong financial and analytical skills, including experience managing departmental budgets
- Exceptional communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in property management systems (e.g., Light Speed, Opera, FOSSE, OnQ, etc.)
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality management or a related field preferred
