Job Description

Instructional Designer IV leading enterprise learning and onboarding for Modivcare, which connects underserved people with healthcare access. Designing scalable training, eLearning, and performance-support solutions while mentoring instructional design teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct organizational, task, learner, and performance analyses to identify business needs, performance gaps, and learning opportunities
  • Present recommendations to leadership and stakeholders
  • Partner with business leaders, subject matter experts, operations teams, and stakeholders to design aligned learning strategies and solutions
  • Design and maintain instructional frameworks, storyboards, learning assets, and curriculum documentation
  • Design, develop, and deploy instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning solutions
  • Facilitate corporate new hire onboarding programs through instructor-led and virtual training
  • Lead end-to-end new hire onboarding initiatives, including training logistics, learner progress monitoring, and content refinement
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using surveys, assessments, operational metrics, learner feedback, and performance data
  • Design and develop interactive training templates, modules, videos, job aids, and acknowledgements
  • Provide consultation and support for virtual learning delivery platforms and enterprise learning technologies
  • Support learning technology administration and collaborate with LMS administrators on deployment, tracking, and reporting
  • Maintain instructional resources, curriculum documentation, and learning content repositories
  • Apply ADDIE and other appropriate training models
  • Monitor, track, report on, and analyze training survey data
  • Lead innovative learning strategies, technologies, and instructional approaches
  • Evaluate emerging learning technologies, instructional methodologies, and learner experience trends
  • Develop learning objectives and structure learning activities
  • Provide mentorship, guidance, quality review, and thought leadership to instructional design and training team members
  • Manage multiple high-priority projects and stakeholder relationships simultaneously
  • Apply accessibility, usability, and inclusive design principles
  • Recommend when non-training solutions may be more appropriate than formal training
  • Establish instructional design standards, governance, and best practices
  • Participate in other projects or duties as assigned

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • Seven (7) or more years of progressive experience in instructional design, learning and development, talent development, or enterprise training environments
  • Experience designing and developing instructor-led, virtual, blended, and eLearning solutions
  • Experience with Articulate Storyline, Rise, Adobe Creative Suite, Camtasia, LMS platforms, ideally Workday Learning, and virtual learning technologies required
  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and supporting continuous improvement initiatives preferred
  • Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered
  • Demonstrated initiative and ability to follow instructions and complete assignments in a timely manner
  • Ability to work independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to effectively deal with ambiguity and frequent changes
  • Demonstrated consulting, stakeholder management, facilitation, and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to report, analyze data, and draw conclusions regarding results
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to read and write English fluently
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work with and among various groups within the company
  • Knowledge of adult learning theory and instructional systems design methodologies
  • Experience designing blended learning and virtual learning solutions
  • Strong facilitation and presentation skills
  • Experience managing complex instructional design projects with competing priorities
  • Knowledge of accessibility standards and inclusive learning practices
  • Ability to consult with leaders and stakeholders on business and performance needs
  • Experience evaluating learning effectiveness and business impact
  • Knowledge of LMS reporting functionality
  • Demonstrated good judgment, decision-making ability, and strong attention to detail
  • Demonstrated interpersonal skills with diverse internal and external customers
  • Ability to establish and maintain collaborative partnerships across a broad range of professionals
  • Ability to maintain a high energy level and perform multifaceted projects alongside day-to-day activities
