Job Description
Senior instructional designer developing eLearning, immersive, and AI-enabled training for Agilent’s global operations. Managing technical learning strategy, governance, and compliance-focused content.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, develop, and release impactful learning solutions for Global Operations and the Quality Management System
- Create Capability/Competency Maps for key Global Operations roles
- Develop innovative training solutions using eLearning tools for quality, GMP, GCP, GxP, regulatory, and technical initiatives
- Use video, mixed reality, augmented reality, virtual reality, immersive training, and AI in learning solutions
- Review existing training materials for efficacy, clarity, consistency, effectiveness, and accessibility compliance
- Manage the lifecycle of new technologies, including regulatory compliance, security reviews, and sustained enablement
- Develop and produce interactive video and Extended Reality content
- Partner with Global Operations leadership and HR L&D to define learning priorities
- Oversee learning KPIs and metrics to ensure training effectiveness
- Develop and deliver the vision for technical learning priorities across Global Operations
- Build relationships and collaborate across Global Operations and Agilent
- Manage learning strategy and support employee career growth and organizational alignment
- Manage timelines, tools, and resources through matrixed delivery teams
- Mentor training personnel as needed
- Support internal and external audits as needed
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum 5 years of experience in training content development
- Experience leveraging eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate RISE, Captivate, and Vyond
- Proficiency using Microsoft Office suite, including Teams, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Fluency in English, written and verbal
- Advanced degree in learning and/or content development is preferred
- Experience using video content development, extended reality experiences, and virtual reality experiences is preferred
- Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) guidelines and regulatory requirements is preferred
- Experience utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) in content development is preferred
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with high attention to detail and ethical standards
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Travel required: 25% of the time
