Job Description
Business Analyst für datenbasierte Unternehmenssteuerung bei Leading Brokers United, mit Fokus auf Versichererkennzahlen, Forecasts, Reporting und KPI-Analysen.
Responsibilities:
- Collect, prepare, and analyze key performance indicators from collaboration with insurers, particularly premiums, brokerage commissions, and remuneration models
- Analyze key company metrics for LBU and its affiliated insurance broker firms, particularly revenue, commissions, costs, and profit
- Prepare budget-versus-actual comparisons, forecasts, and scenario analyses
- Prepare, validate, and consolidate data from various companies and systems
- Create and further develop management reports, dashboards, and analyses
- Prepare negotiations with insurers
- Identify trends, variances, opportunities, and risks, and derive specific recommendations for action
- Support budgeting, corporate planning, and performance reviews
- Further develop and standardize KPI, reporting, and analysis processes
- Collaborate with management teams, Finance/Controlling, and affiliated broker firms
Requirements:
- Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Controlling, Business Informatics, Data Analytics, or a comparable field
- Approximately 1–2 years of initial professional experience as a Business Analyst, Financial Analyst, Controller, FP&A Analyst, or in a comparable role
- Initial experience in planning, forecasting, budgeting, and budget-versus-actual analyses
- Good understanding of the relationships between the income statement, balance sheet, and cash flow
- Advanced Excel skills
- Experience with Power BI or comparable BI and reporting tools is an advantage
- Strong numerical aptitude and an analytical, structured, and meticulous approach to work
- Ability to present complex relationships clearly and derive recommendations for action
- Strong communication skills, initiative, and enthusiasm for collaborating with different departments
- Knowledge of the insurance or insurance brokerage sector is an advantage
- Responsible handling of confidential corporate and financial data
- C1-level German proficiency
- English language skills are an advantage
