Job Description
Integration Engineer für digitale Logistiksysteme bei FineCom, einem familiengeführten Logistikunternehmen. Entwicklung und Betreuung von Schnittstellen, Integrationsplattformen sowie ERP- und WMS-Anbindungen.
Responsibilities:
- Independently design, develop, and maintain data interfaces between internal and external systems
- Operate and further develop the Lobster_data integration platform
- Connect external systems via EDI/EDIFACT, XML, JSON, and CSV
- Develop and maintain file-based and web interfaces using REST, SOAP, SFTP, and EDI
- Design robust validation and error-handling logic, including sanity checks, atomic processing, and idempotency
- Independently analyze and resolve incidents in live operations
- Understand and account for WMS processes such as goods receiving, picking, shipping, and returns
- Connect and integrate ERP and WMS systems with e-commerce, shipping service provider, and customer portal platforms
- Support logistics IT systems and warehouse management environments
- Develop and maintain SQL queries, procedures, and data models in MS SQL Server and MySQL environments
- Analyze and optimize data-driven business processes
- Analyze technical customer requirements and create interface concepts
- Support customer migration projects and system integrations
- Participate in technical workshops and project coordination meetings
Requirements:
- Experience with integration platforms—ideally Lobster_data; alternatively, comparable middleware such as MuleSoft or Boomi
- Knowledge of XML, JSON, CSV, and EDIFACT/EDI
- Knowledge of REST, SOAP, and SFTP/FTP
- Basic understanding of REST interfaces, including their use and configuration
- Advanced SQL skills in MS SQL Server and MySQL, including complex queries, joins, CTEs, and data modeling
- Understanding of interconnected, distributed system architectures and their process chains
- Basic understanding of WMS processes and their impact on interface design
- Basic understanding of e-commerce and/or logistics processes
- Nice to have: Specific experience with Lobster_data
- Nice to have: Experience developing and implementing REST or SOAP APIs
- Nice to have: Practical experience with at least one WMS or ERP system
- Nice to have: Basic .NET/C# skills for reading code and making minor modifications
- Nice to have: Experience with PHP/Laravel
- Nice to have: Experience with WMS implementation projects or migrations
