Job Description
Solutions Architect designing networking, security, cloud, and infrastructure solutions for ProviNET Solutions’ clients. Leading technical discovery, scopes, estimates, and pre-sales recommendations.
Responsibilities:
- Lead technical discovery and infrastructure assessments with prospective and existing clients
- Design and recommend networking, security, server, cloud, and infrastructure solutions
- Develop technical diagrams, bills of materials (BOMs), project scopes, and statements of work (SOWs)
- Create project plans and professional services labor estimates
- Collaborate with Sales, Account Management, and Engineering to deliver practical, supportable solutions
- Present technical recommendations and communicate solutions to technical and nontechnical audiences
- Serve as a technical resource throughout the pre-sales process
- Evaluate existing infrastructure and develop solution designs
Requirements:
- 7+ years of experience in infrastructure engineering, technical consulting, solutions architecture, or a related field
- Strong networking knowledge, including switching, routing, firewalls, wireless, and network security
- Working knowledge of Windows Server, virtualization, storage, backup, and disaster recovery
- Practical experience with Microsoft Azure infrastructure
- Experience developing technical designs, project scopes, statements of work (SOWs), and labor estimates
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Previous MSP or IT consulting experience is a plus
