Job Description
Senior Solution Engineer enabling Snowflake’s systems integrator partners with data architecture, pipelines, and technical solution development. Supporting partner sales, demos, POCs, and joint offerings across Brazil.
Responsibilities:
- Help Solution Providers and Practice Leads develop technical strategies to sell their offerings on Snowflake
- Quickly grasp new concepts and business value messaging
- Understand how SI partners generate revenue through industry priorities and complexities, and influence where Snowflake products can impact their services
- Help develop and launch differentiated joint solution offerings with SI partners
- Engage with technologists and provide presentations at the C-level
- Provide technical product and deep architectural expertise and current product capabilities to the Partner Solution Architect community
- Collaborate with partners on Snowflake solutions in customer engagements
- Create assets and demos, build hands-on proofs of concept, and pitch Snowflake solutions
- Stay current with Spark updates and best practices
- Support partner relationship management, program execution, goal-setting, and progress tracking
- Build mindshare with Snowflake's SI partners
Requirements:
- Proven track record of working with large SI partners
- Strong business acumen
- Knowledge of the broader platform ecosystem, products, and competition
- Production-level hands-on expertise developing and deploying PySpark or Scala and SQL to build ELT/data pipelines into production environments
- Hands-on experience designing and building highly scalable data pipelines using Spark and Kafka
- Experience with integration platforms such as Matillion, FiveTran, Informatica, and dbtCloud
- Experience with database technologies
- Hands-on technical experience with DevOps and CI/CD processes and tools, such as Azure DevOps, Jenkins, AWS CodePipeline, and Google Cloud Build
- Strong experience with major cloud platforms and tooling, especially Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud
- Experience with Big Data or cloud integration technologies such as Matillion, Azure Data Factory, AWS Glue, and AWS Lambda
- 5+ years industry experience designing, building, and supporting large-scale systems in production
- Strong computer science fundamentals, including data structures, algorithms, and distributed systems
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and product managers
- BS, MS, or PhD in Computer Science or related majors
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and Portuguese
