Job Description

Director of Internal Audit leading digital technology auditors and managing audit engagements at GE Aerospace. Focusing on complex IT, cybersecurity, and integrated risk assessments.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of digital technology auditors and technical subject matter experts
  • Oversee risk-informed digital, cybersecurity, and integrated audit engagements
  • Partner with stakeholders in performing risk assessments across digital technology and business processes
  • Drive timely closures of corrective actions from audit engagements
  • Contribute to the design and development of Internal Audit methodologies
  • Take a leadership role in strategic initiatives such as AI/analytics and integrated risk management
  • Manage and develop direct reports

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, another STEM major, or Business Administration with a minor in Computer Information Technology preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in IT Governance, IT Risk, IT Audit, Cybersecurity, or related fields
  • 5+ years of managerial experience
  • Technology and/or cybersecurity internal audit background preferred
  • Experience leading audit and advisory engagement portfolios
  • Demonstrated people leadership experience
  • Strong critical thinking ability
  • CISM, CISA, CISSP, CRISC or other relevant certifications preferred
  • Knowledge of key IT operational and risk domains
