Job Description

International Business Development Manager developing strategies and executing opportunities in defense markets. Building relationships with military organizations and leading sales efforts for innovative technology solutions.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute international business development strategies to expand market presence in target regions.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities, including government contracts, defense procurement programs, and strategic partnerships.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with defense agencies, military organizations, contractors, and government officials.
  • Lead the end-to-end sales process, negotiations, and contract execution.
  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify trends, threats, and opportunities in international defense markets.
  • Navigate complex regulatory environments, including EAR, and other export compliance requirements.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, finance, legal, and operations, to develop customized solutions for clients.
  • Represent the company at industry conferences, trade shows, and networking events to enhance visibility and credibility in the global defense sector.
  • Monitor geopolitical and economic developments that may impact international business operations.

Requirements:

  • 5+ years’ experience in International sales. Unique candidates with relevant military experience working with multiple international partners in Special Operations will serve as a suitable substitute.
  • Strong Candidates should be uniquely self motivated.
  • Able to receive direction and execute individually realized opportunities given a strategic outline, with minimal oversight.
  • Candidates should be creative in their business strategy and look for instances to align opportunities with current and future company objectives and products.
  • Strong Candidates will possess impeccable communication skills with a team oriented attitude.
  • Driven individuals with a knack for problem solving will be successful in developing new customers in untapped or underserviced global markets.

Benefits:

  • Salary (£60,000 - £90,000) + Equity + Commission
