Job Description
IT Engineer specializing in system administration and audit compliance for Codgo.X. Engaging in critical IT infrastructure management and ensuring audit readiness as a primary responsibility.
Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for internal, external and regulatory IT audits.
- Collect, organize and submit audit documentation, including evidence of access controls, system configurations, logs and security policies.
- Coordinate with other IT teams and business areas to ensure accurate and complete responses to audit requests.
- Support testing of IT general controls (ITGCs), application-level controls and infrastructure safeguards.
- Track and assist in remediation of audit findings, documenting corrective actions.
- Keep compliance documentation up to date and support preparation for recurring audits (e.g., PCI, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Manage and maintain servers, networks and IT infrastructure (Windows/Linux environments).
- Monitor system performance, backups, patch management and security configurations.
- Administer user accounts, permissions and group policies in Active Directory and cloud platforms.
- Ensure system integrity and availability through routine maintenance, updates and proactive monitoring.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software and network issues.
Requirements:
- Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field; or equivalent practical experience.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in IT systems administration, with proven involvement supporting audits or compliance.
- Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux servers, networking and cloud platforms.
- Familiarity with IT audit processes and frameworks (e.g., PCI, SOX, SOC 2, ISO 27001, NIST).
- Experience with access management, system monitoring tools and log collection.
- Fluent in English.
