Job Description
IT Solutions Architect leading enterprise software development within a regulated environment. Collaborating with teams across Europe to modernize complex systems at Eurofins.
Responsibilities:
- Define and drive solution architecture for enterprise applications
- Lead technical design activities and support implementation across distributed teams
- Contribute to the modernisation and evolution of complex legacy systems
- Ensure solutions are scalable, maintainable, secure and high-performing
- Collaborate closely with developers, architects, QA, DevOps and business stakeholders
- Support delivery throughout the full software development lifecycle
- Promote engineering best practice and architectural standards across teams
Requirements:
- 10+ years' experience in enterprise software development and architecture
- Strong Java background (Java 11/17, Java EE / Jakarta EE)
- Database design and development expertise (PostgreSQL)
- Eclipse RCP, SWT and JFace
- WildFly Application Server
- Enterprise software architecture and solution design
- Legacy system modernisation
- Object-oriented design, design patterns and engineering best practices
- Experience working within complex enterprise environments
