Job Description
Lead Commercial Counsel at Solace, transforming legal frameworks and building operational efficiencies within healthcare. Work directly with executive leadership to support growth initiatives in a complex regulatory landscape.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the drafting and negotiation of high-stakes agreements, including MSAs, BAAs, and strategic partnerships.
- Serve as the architect of our legal infrastructure, automating workflows, and identifying process gaps.
- Act as the primary legal advisor to the broader business across growth initiatives.
- Navigate complex regulatory frameworks into actionable guidance for teams.
Requirements:
- A JD and admission to a US state bar with 6 to 10+ years of experience.
- Deep track record in commercial and healthcare counseling, ideally within a high-growth, in-house environment.
- Proven ability to evaluate, implement, and manage legal tech (CLM, AI tools).
- Experience building contract workflows from the ground up.
- Thrives in "zero to one" environments.
- Comfort with the ambiguity of a startup and creating order out of chaos.
- Intellectual curiosity and background to support other pillars of the business, ideally in product, corporate, and regulatory areas.
- Excellent legal judgment and a “business-first” communication style.
- Low-ego and highly collaborative, capable of influencing stakeholders across the organization.
