Job Description
Lead enterprise architecture strategy and modernization for Humana’s healthcare insurance and care-delivery platforms. Govern cloud, application, and technology transformation across enterprise domains.
Responsibilities:
- Define enterprise-wide technology strategy and architecture standards
- Develop modernization roadmaps across payer, provider, pharmacy, clinical, corporate, and technology domains
- Govern digital transformation initiatives
- Partner with executive leadership, product teams, engineering organizations, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity, and business stakeholders
- Lead software rationalization, technology domain strategy, application modernization, cloud transformation, platform standardization, operational resiliency, and cost optimization
- Drive enterprise architecture strategy and modernization at scale
- Enable scalable, secure, compliant, resilient, and efficient enterprise platforms
- Report to an Associate Director of Enterprise Architecture
- Travel occasionally to Humana offices for training or meetings
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree
- 12+ years of progressive IT domain experience
- 5+ years leading enterprise architecture initiatives within large-scale enterprise environments
- Experience influencing executive stakeholders and large engineering organizations
- Healthcare, payer, or provider enterprise architecture experience
- TOGAF, Azure, AWS, or SAFe certifications
- Familiarity with AI governance frameworks
- Experience with enterprise architecture tools: LeanIX and ServiceNow APM
- Must reside in close proximity to Louisville, KY; Washington, DC/Arlington, VA; Dallas, TX; Chicago, IL; Fort Lauderdale, FL; or Tampa, FL
- Not eligible for work visa sponsorship
- Dedicated work-from-home space without ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI/HIPAA information
- Self-provided internet service with at least 25 Mbps download and 10 Mbps upload speed
