Job Description
Senior Consultant securing German clients’ IT infrastructures at an independent IT management and cybersecurity consultancy. Leading assessments, audits, security architectures, and cybersecurity improvement projects.
Responsibilities:
- Lead project teams and support clients in improving their cybersecurity within the IT infrastructure domain
- Conduct technical assessments, audits and security evaluations for clients
- Design security architectures and tailored security strategies, and support clients with their implementation
- Raise client awareness of information security in a technical context and develop mitigation measures
- Contribute ideas and recommendations on interface topics such as data protection, operational organization and service management
- Further develop the consulting service offerings
Requirements:
- Technical education or university degree with several years of practical experience, for example in computer science, cyber security or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification
- Several years of experience in the IT infrastructure domain, particularly with networks, Active Directory, firewalls, cloud and hypervisors
- Several years of experience in technical assessments, audits or security evaluations
- Advanced knowledge of regulatory requirements, for example ISO 27001 and NIS2
- Ability to present technical matters to clients in a structured way
- Advantageous: exposure to OT environments (Operational Technology), KRITIS (critical infrastructure) or regulated projects
- Advantageous: solid understanding of industrial networks
- Willingness to not meet every item on the wish list; missing knowledge can be acquired on the job
